The 2022 graduation ceremony planning is under way at Davie High School, and your help is needed.

The community will select nominations for the War Eagle speaker.  Nominations by the school and community should be based on characteristics beyond academics, such as exemplary character, leadership through example, and service to the community. Any current senior can be nominated in any one of the characteristics.

“Please help us recognize exceptional students by nominating them through May 11,” said Michelle Shue, who is helping plan the ceremony.

Community members, parents, teachers, and students can make the nomations, considering:

• exemplary character, acceptable disciplinary record, academic integrity, concern for others;

• leadership through example, reaction to obstacles, attitude, and spirit; and

• service to community, volunteerism, participation in extracurriculars/organizations/work.
