A job fair April 7 will feature more than 45 companies ready to hire new workers, and Davidson-Davie Community College is inviting members of the public to participate if they are looking for work.

The job fair will be on the Davie Campus on Salisbury Road in Mocksville on April 7 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

“There’s never been a better time to find a new job,” said Keisha Jones, dean of student engagement and completion at the college. “Employers are eager to find new, talented employees, so there are many opportunities out there right now. It’s our goal as a college to connect our students and graduates to meaningful careers, and we want to share these opportunities with the community as well.”

Employers come from a variety of industries. Prospective employees are encouraged to bring their resumes and questions as they discover professional opportunities.
