The number of Davie residents with COVID-19 is nearing 1,000.
The number increased from 796 on Jan. 14 to 961 on Jan. 24, according to figures released Monday by Davie Health & Human Services. It included 13 currently in the hospital, and 111 dead since the beginning of the pandemic.
