Man charged in Tuesday death of Davie woman

A Mocksville man has been charged with voluntary manslaughter after his live-in girlfriend was found dead of a gunshot wound on Tuesday evening.
At approximately 8:38 p.m. Oct. 19, deputies from the Davie County Sheriff’s Office responded to 1978 US 64 E., Mocksville, for a subject that had been shot.
Upon arrival, the victim, Tiffany Dawn Robertson, 29, was located deceased inside the residence.
The caller, Jonathan Edward Myers, 30, was arrested later that evening and charged with voluntary manslaughter. He is being held at the Davie County Detention Center in lieu of a $225,000 bond.
The investigation is continuing, and more charges are anticipated, said Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Brian Jacobs.
Agents from the N.C. SBI are assisting with the investigation.
