The Davie County Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Economic Development Commission and Davie Connect will host an outdoor job fair at the WalMart parking lot, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Thursday, March 25.

Job seekers can meet with local businesses and may secure jobs on the day of the event. Companies present will include: Dunlop Aircraft Tyres, Davie County School System, The Andersons, Avgol, Comfort Bilt, Brakebush Brothers, REEB, The Resource, Gildan, Ashley Furniture, WalMart and more.

“We keep the pulse on our membership and have personally experienced the business community’s need for helping employers meet and hire quality, skilled workers. This is a great way for job seekers to connect with companies that could offer residents a chance to thrive and grow right in their own backyard,” said Caroline Moser, president of the Davie County Chamber of Commerce.

Chick-Fil-A will serve lunch from 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. Rain date fis scheduled for Wednesday, March 31.
