The Christmas celebrations continue this weekend in Mocksville.
The Piedmont Firefighters Pipes & Drums will be strolling through the downtown Mocksville area on Friday, Dec. 20 from 6-7 p.m. Hear the sounds of bagpipes and drums.
“We are Piedmont Firefighters Pipes and Drums, carrying on the tradition of Irish/Scottish heritage,” says their Facebook page. The band is composed of firefighters, law enforcement, paramedics, public safety personnel and civilians from Forsyth, Yadkin, Davidson and surrounding counties.”
Visit Santa, Mrs. Claus
Hey kids, bring letters to Santa and Mrs. Claus – they’ll be in downtown Mocksville at Main Street Park to take them personally. There will be an ice sculpture demonstration with Chef Al Romano and you can feed the reindeer (miniature horses dressed as reindeer). Bring a new toy for the Toys for Tots program.
Community Band
Enjoy the sounds of the season as the Davie Community Band strolls through the downtown area Saturday, Dec. 21 from 6-8 p.m.
