Larry Bahnson Reynolds, 73, of Salisbury, died on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2019 at the Novant Health Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House.
Born Dec. 15, 1945 in Davie County, he was a son of the late Gladys Long Sanford and Harley Reynolds. He worked in the Food Lion offices for many years and he was a mechanic by trade. He loved his church, Calvary Baptist, and was always a happy person, willing to help anyone in need. He was a NASCAR enthusiast.
He was also preceded in death by a step-daughter, Elizabeth Myers.
Survivors: his wife, Mary Bowen Reynolds; children, Debbie Wyrick (Dean) and Catherine Reynolds; step-children, Anita Mowery and Gregory Bowen; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15 at Summersett Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Rowan Memorial Park with the Rev. Scott Faw officiating.
