Mrs. Judith Bailey “Judy” Hinrichs, 66, died on Friday, May 24, 2019.
Survivors: her husband of 40 years, Scott Hinrichs of Mocksville; her daughters, Erin Ragan (Joseph) of Statesville, and Sarah Guck(Brian) of Midland, Texas; her 6 grandchildren, Evelyn, Piper, Poppy, Anna, Peyton, and Charlie; and her brothers, Jack Bailey (Karin) of Lyons, N.Y., Jim Bailey (Mary) of Menasha, Wisc., and John Bailey (Annette) of Walworth, N.Y.; and nephews, nieces and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Bailey.
She was born in Fort Worth, Texas and grew up in Rochester, N.Y. She then moved to Hamlin, N.Y. where she raised a family and made memories before relocating to Mocksville. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. She treasured her grandchildren who knew her as “Nonny.” An active member of church she loved singing. She also enjoyed knitting, vacations at the beach and rooting for the Yankees. She was a hard worker.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 30 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel in Advance, by the Rev. Marty Ramey. The family will receive friends following the service.
