Nancy Booe Bailey, 87, of Mocksville died on May 19, 2019 in Davie County.
She was born April 13, 1932 in Davie County, a daughter to the late Jack Aaron Booe and Nannie (Jordan) Booe. She graduated from Farmington High School and later married Charlie Bailey.
She was also preceded in death by: her husband, Charlie; her sons, Jerry Wayne Bailey and Larry Dean Bailey; her brother, Billy Booe; and sister, Wilma Cole.
She worked as a seamstress. She attended Turrentine Baptist Church and in her leisure time enjoyed crocheting and sitting outside. She loved the mountains and the beach.
Survivors: her sons, Charlie “Beetle” Bailey (Deborah) of Advance and Gary “Chubby” Bailey (Teresa) of Woodleaf; a daughter, Camilla Ann Bailey of Mocksville; brothers, Vernon Booe of Mocksville and Lewis Booe (Bonnie) of Winston-Salem; sisters, Pearlene Reavis and Margaret Allison, both of Mocksville; and several grandchildren, step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 22 at 10 a.m. at the Bear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Gregg McKeown officiating.
