Mrs. Mary Lois Moody Tysinger, 66, of Lexington, died on Thursday, May 9, 2019, at Hinkle Hospice House.
She was born May 23, 1952 in Rowan County to the late Grady Greene and Lessie Mae Combs Moody. Mrs. Tysinger was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Welcome and enjoyed fishing.
She was also preceded in death by: 2 sisters, Diane Moody and Betty Sue Moody; and 2 brothers, Ronald Gray Moody and Bobby Moody.
Survivors: her husband, Steven Dale Tysinger of the home; 2 sons, Jeff Littleton (Julie) and Jason Littleton (Jennifer), all of Lexington; 2 sisters, Lucille Bledsoe and Verna Owens, both of Mocksville; a brother, Donald Moody of Yadkinville; 5 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; 2 stepchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 6 step-great-grandchildren; a special niece, Karen Bledsoe; and a special nephew, Barry Bledsoe.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Monday, May 13 at Lighthouse Baptist Church with the Revs. Avery Varnadore and Sammy Allison officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
