Arline Ressa 79, of Mocksville, died on April 2, 2019.
She was born Feb. 1, 1940 in Manhattan, N.Y., the daughter of the late Max and Tillie (Ryback) Silverman. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Richard Silverman, and a daughter, Susan Ressa.
Survivors: her husband, Kemal Ressa; sons, Paul Ressa (Sharon) of Mocksville, and Peter Ressa of Advance; brother, Harvey Sutherland (Faye) of Clemmons; grandchildren, Cheryl (Chris) Strong, Reshaun (Rachel) Parks, Adam (Sally) Ressa, Anthony (Kayla) Ressa, Nick Ressa, Jonathon (fiance Annie) Ressa, Dominic Ressa and Vinnie Ressa; and great-grandchildren, Abram Taylor, Patrick Ressa, Henry Strong and Finley Ressa.
She was full of life. She loved cooking, playing card games and working at Cooks Flea Market where she and her husband sold work clothes for more than 30 years. She never met a stranger. Family was everything and she adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be held 11 a.m.. Saturday April 13 at the Davie Funeral Service Chapel, Mocksville.
