Richard Kevin Foster

Mr. Kevin Foster, 55, of Advance, died on Friday, Feb. 8, 2019 at home.

He was born in Forsyth County on May 28, 1963.

Survivors: his high school sweetheart and wife of 31 years, Kim Lagle Foster; his 2 children, Ryan Foster and Bethany Foster; his mother and father, Joyce and C.W. Foster Jr.; his mother-in-law, Polly Lagle; his father-in-law, Paul Lagle; his sister, Amanda “Mandy” (David) Smith; and nephews and niece, Hampton, Noble, and Zayla; sister-in-law Paula (Kim) Seaford; and nieces Anna (Bradley) Coe, and Kara (Nathan) Batchelder; and great-nephews.

He was graduated from Davie High School in 1981 and Lenoir Rhyne College in 1985 and was employed by Walker and Associates in Lexington. He enjoyed the outdoors, was a hiker, and loved spending time with his family.  He was known for his wry sense of humor and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.There will be a celebration of life service at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 12 at Oak Grove United Methodist Church in Mocksville, with the Revs. David Smith and Rodney Burton officiating.  A graveside service will be held following the service, and the family will receive friends afterwards in the fellowship hall.
