Jean Adeline (Clement) Murdock

Jean Adeline (Clement) Murdock, 86, of Salisbury died at the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House Friday, Jan. 18, 2019.
She was a native of Rowan County, born Dec. 7, 1932, the daughter of the late Loyal and Lola Parks Clement. She was the widow of James A. Murdock. She was a homemaker for her family and a caregiver for others.
Survivors: 2 sons, Robert Clement of Minnesota and Bernard Clement of Salisbury; a daughter, Lola Earp of Salisbury; a brother, Loyal Clement Jr. of New York; 3 sisters, Alice Fortune of Mocksville, Lola Pettiford of Salisbury and Peggy Jones of Mocksville; 12 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Mary Lipscomb and Hanna McGee, and 2 brothers, Hayden Clement and Dewey Parks.
A celebration of life memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26 at Davie Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Daniel Brown officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service in the chapel.
