Barbara Jean Boles Culler

Barbara Jean Boles Culler, 80, died at her home with family on Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017.
She was a native of Davie County, born Jan. 18, 1937, and the daughter of the late Hubert and Elizabeth Jackson Boles. She was also preceded in death by a son, Douglas Culler in 2011; a brother, Bob Boles; and 2 sisters, Cloyce Wallace and Patty Spillman.
She was a graduate of Davie County Schools, Class of 1955. Prior to retirement, she had worked in retail with Radio Shack. She attended New Philadelphia Moravian Church in Winston-Salem.
Survivors: 2 sons, Chris Culler (Sandra) of Mocksville and Mike Culler (Jan) of King; a daughter, Dianne Childress of Mocksville; 3 brothers, Bill and Donnie Boles (Judy), both of Mocksville, and Jim Boles of Hamptonville; 2 sisters, Mary Norman and Shirley Simpson, both of Mocksville; 8 grandchildren, Linda, Kristen, Nicholas, Misti, Jennifer, Jenny, Sara and Christian; and 9 great-grandchildren, Jakob, Kaleb, Jadyn, Reagan, Norma Gayle, Cora Lynn, Opal Ruth, Douglas and Kaylee.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held at Davie Funeral Chapel at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, with the Rev. Greg McEwen officiating.
