Miss Nelia Elizabeth Bracken, 92, formerly of Boozie Lane, Mocksville, died on Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017 at Autumn Care.

She was born Sept. 22, 1925 in Davie County to the late William Henry and Mattie Elvira Wood Bracken.Miss Bracken was a lifelong member of Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church. She had been employed by Davie County Hospital for 13 years and Monleigh Garment Co. for 17 years.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Polly Myers; and 4 brothers, Jerry, Lonnie, Frank and John Henry Bracken.

Miss Bracken is survived by several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was to be conducted at 11 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 30 at Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family was to receive friends at Eaton Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.
