Kenneth Ray ‘Ralph’ Hellard

Kenneth “Ralph” Ray Hellard, 54, of Statesville, died on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017.

He is the son of Barbara Sain Hellard of Mocksville and the late Fred Gray Hellard.

He is preceded in death by  his brothers, Timothy Gray Hellard and Dickie Joe Hellard.

He was a graduate of Davie High School. He worked for Hi-Tech Construction. He was a member of Mooresville Moose Lodge 2012 and was a past governor. He loved to play golf and was a fan of the University of Tennessee. He never met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone any way he could.

Also surviving: his wife, Cindi Hendrix Hellard; daughter, Morgan Hellard; mother-in-law, Deanna Dillard; father-in-law, Tommy Hendrix and his family; and his dog, Zoey.

Services will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 7 at 4 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Fred Carlton officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be from 2:30-4 p.m.
