Mocksville police officers earn award

Two Mocksville police officers recently received the FBI-LEEDA Trilogy Award.
Chief Todd Penley and Lt. Pat Reagan completed the three-part Supervisor Leadership Institute, a five-day program, the Command Leadership Institute, a five-day program, and the Executive Leadership Institute, a three and one-half day course.
FBI-LEEDA, stands for Law Enforcement Executive Development Association and was developed to advance the science and art of law enforcement leadership and promote the exchange of information to improve law enforcement management practices.
Completion awards the recipient nine semester hours toward and undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma or three semester hours toward a graduate degree in criminal justice.
