Carolyn Joy Shook

Mrs. Carolyn Joy Reeves Shook, 67, of Mocksville, died Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at her home. 

She was born Au. 2, 1946, in Carroll County, Tenn., to the late R. L. and Myrtle May Hampton Reeves.

Survivors: her husband, Cecil M. Shook of Statesville; 2 children, Steve Capps (Carol) and Alisa Wike (Tracy), all of Mocksville; a stepdaughter, Kimberly Dishman; a brother, Randy Reeves of Tennessee; 3 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and a stepgranddaughter.

A funeral service was conducted at 2 p.m., Friday, July 25 at Eaton Funeral Chapel, with Gary Dull officiating. Burial followed in Rose Cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
