Jacqueline Link Shuffler
Mrs. Jacqueline Link Shuffler, 78, of Salisbury died on Sunday, May 25, 2014 at the residence of her daughter.
Born on July 15, 1935 in Davie County, she was the daughter of the late William and Lola Munday Link. Educated in the Davie County Schools, she was of the Baptist faith. She worked in textiles, retiring from Cone Mills in the quill room.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, C.M. Shuffler, to whom she married on June 1, 1963, he died Aug. 17, 2006; her son, Kelly Waller on Aug. 17, 2012; and a grandchild.
Survivors: a son, Dale Waller (Barbara) of Woodleaf; daughters, Treva Waller and Janice Rinehart (Dennis), all of Salisbury; brothers, Eugene Link of Faith and John Link of Salisbury; sisters, Margie Hoover of Spencer, Dot Foster of Winston-Salem and Mildred McSwain of Cooleemee; 2 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 7 step grandchildren; and 11 step great-grandchildren.
Visitation was to be on Wednesday from noon-1:30 at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove with a graveside service at 2 p.m. at Brookhill Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Raymond Davis, mininster.
