Sloop ~ Sinnott

Elizabeth Nicole Sloop and David Charles Sinnott were united in marriage Dec. 14, 2013, in a 4 p.m. ceremony at Grace Lutheran Church in Salisbury. The Rev. Jerome M. Cloninger officiated the ceremony, which was followed by a reception in the Family Life Center.
The bride was escorted by her father. The maid of honor was sister of the bride Sarah Jean Sloop of Salisbury. Bridesmaids were Laura Elaine Ritchie of Salisbury, Steffanie Jimenez West of Salisbury and Veronica Blair Sanders of Concord.
The groom’s best man was Eric West of Salisbury, and his groomsmen were Scott Campbell of Hermitage, Tenn., Eddie Treto of Montclair, Calif., Spencer Atwell of Salisbury and Dillon Atwell of Salisbury.
The bride is the daughter of S. Timothy and Mary Sloop of Salisbury and the granddaughter of John A. Walker and the late Sarah W. Walker of Concord and the late Samuel and Jean Sloop of Salisbury. A 2007 graduate of West Rowan High School, Elizabeth received a degree in Elementary Education from Catawba College in 2011. She is a second grade teacher for Person County Schools in Roxboro.
The groom is the son of Arthur and Nancy Sinnott of Phenix, Va., and the grandson of the late David and Eleanor Sinnott of Brooklyn, N.Y., Norma Frasier and the late William Frasier of Neptune, N.J. A 2006 graduate of The Miller School, David received a degree in Business Management from Catawba College in 2010. He is a mechanic at Camp Motorsport in Clover, Va.
The couple will make their home in South Boston, Va.
