Campbell-Reavis Couple Married

Lonnie “Scoot” Campbell (Jayelene McNeely) of Mocksville and Robbie and Crystal Fox of Advance announce the marriage of their daughter, Courtney Hope Campbell to James Ryan Reavis, the son of Craig and Lyvonne Reavis of Mocksville. The bride was escorted by her father and was united in marriage at the couple’s home in Mocksville on Dec. 31, 2012 with the Rev. Gary L. Marshall officiating.
The groom’s father presented the rings on a white Bible tied with a red ribbon in honor of the groom’s late grandmother, Connie Reavis.
A three-tiered pineapple wedding cake was made by the groom’s mother.
The groom’s Papaw Lester made a video of the small, intimate ceremony with close, immediate family in attendance.
The bride is the granddaughter of Nettie Blevins and the late Jessie Blevins of Mocksville, and Lonnie and Maryann Campbell of Cooleemee. She is the step-granddaughter of Robert and Ruth Fox of Winston-Salem, and the sister of Christopher Campbell of Advance. She is a 2008 graduate of Davie High School and earned a certificate in phlebotomy from Davidson County Community College. She is employed at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston-Salem.
The groom is the grandson of Carl Reavis and the late Connie Reavis of Mocksville, Lester Mayhew of Mocksville, and Robert Cook of Mocksville. He is the great-grandson of Louisa Mayhew and the late James Mayhew of Advance, and Alice Godbey and the late Curtis Godbey of Mocksville. He is a 2007 graduate of …
